Advocacy Methods of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting
Lawrence M. Koresko (Larry) currently serves as president of INSMAX Insurance Brokerage, Inc. in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. Holding a bachelor’s degree in economics and possessing over twenty years of experience in the financial sector, Lawrence M. Koresko is a member of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU).
The AALU uses two key methods to advocate for the 75 million American families that depend on annuity products and life insurance. Because the AALU has a politically involved membership, the organization is able to access the knowledge of members in order to educate government officials whose decisions affect those who rely on life insurance.
The main modes of advocacy are AALU Ambassadors and The Capitol Hill Club. In the former, Ambassadors build relationships with policymakers, educate lawmakers on the impacts of potential legislation, and endorse candidates who understand the industry’s issues. The Capitol Hill Club assists in facilitating meetings with key congressional leaders during the AALU’s annual meeting in Washington, DC.
