Devils Tower National Monument Soars above Wyoming

Lawrence M. Koresko holds an undergraduate degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. As president of Insmax Insurance Brokerage, Inc., in the Greater Philadelphia area, Lawrence M. Koresko often organizes educational events for brokers. An avid motorcyclist, Larry Koresko has visited many American tourist attractions, such as Devils Tower in Wyoming.

Declared a national monument by Pres. Theodore Roosevelt in 1906, Devils Tower rises some 1,200 feet over Wyoming’s plains. Geologists do not agree on its exact origin, but the consensus holds that the tower is a volcanic rock formation. As the wearing down of the surrounding sedimentary rock progressed, the rock that is less susceptible to erosion gradually dominated the scene. The visual qualities of Devils Tower drew director Steven Spielberg to use it as a location for his classic Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

A favorite destination of hikers, Devils Tower features some eight miles of trails. A paved 1.3-mile trail encircles the tower, and other paths weave in and out of surrounding forests and meadows.

Because it has hundreds of cracks and columns, the tower is popular among climbers. The National Park Services requires climbers to register before an ascent and check back in when they are finished. Out of respect for Native American culture, the tower is closed to climbers in June.

Philadelphia Landmarks-The Liberty Bell and Independence Hall

In his professional life, Lawrence M. “Larry” Koresko leads as president of Insmax Insurance Brokerage in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. Lawrence M. Koresko also enjoys exploring the many historic sites in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and beyond.

Philadelphia has many of the most famous historic sites in the United States. One of the best-known is the Liberty Bell Center, which houses the famous bell originally cast to call the members of the Pennsylvania Assembly to convene. It has since become a symbol of freedom for abolitionists, Civil Rights activists, and other groups seeking equal rights for all. Visitors to the Liberty Bell Center can read about the stories that surround it, watch a video on its history, and examine X-rays that show its world-famous crack in detail.

The Liberty Bell Center is conveniently located just a block away from Independence Hall, where the Founding Fathers signed the Declaration of Independence and later wrote the US Constitution. Now, visitors come to take a guided tour with National Park rangers and see such artifacts as George Washington's chair, a draft of the Constitution, and the inkstand used for the same document's signing. Admission is free and available 365 days per year, but the required free tickets may run out by early afternoon in the busy season.

St. Andrews Link Course History

Based in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, Lawrence M. Koresko is the president of Insmax Insurance Brokerage, Inc., where he has been since 2014. In his free time, Larry Koresko enjoys golfing and has played at several famous courses, including St. Andrews Links in Scotland.

St. Andrews Links is one of the world’s most famous golf courses, and its Old Course is considered the home of golf. The game was first played on the course around 1400 AD. Over the next six centuries, that one course turned into seven, and the original course went from 22 holes to 18. Despite the longevity of the sport, golf was banned in 1457 by King James II of Scotland, who thought that young men needed to focus on archery. The ban continued for several decades until 1502 when King James IV took up the sport himself.

The course has seen financial hardships over the years, including bankruptcy, but today the course thrives. The seventh course, the Castle Course, was opened in 2008 due to increasing demand.

Tips for End of Life Planning

As the president of Insmax Insurance Brokerage, Lawrence M. Koresko oversees a variety of financial and legal services. Lawrence M. Koresko and his firm help clients navigate the complexities of life insurance, estate planning, business succession planning, and other services.

Estate planning is difficult, but having a plan ensures that your wishes are carried out both while you are living and after you are gone. Proper planning should include financial and legal professionals, but these three tips will get you started:

1. Get organized while you can. It is never too early to start planning for the inevitable, and being prepared can help your loved ones if something unthinkable happens. Write a will, and have it reviewed by your attorney.

2. Designate a power of attorney, fill out a release-of-information form, and create a living will. These important documents protect your family and your wishes in the event that you are incapacitated. A living will lets your wishes be known, and the other documents give your family or lawyer the power to carry them out.

3. Consider life insurance. Life insurance is most important if you have a spouse or dependents that will need support.

Frequently Asked Questions about Motorcycles and "CC"

Lawrence M. Koresko serves as the president of Insmax Insurance Brokerage, located in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. When he is not working, Lawrence M. Koresko rides his motorcycle as often as he can. He has been riding since the young age of 7 and has owned an array of motorcycles since then.

Many new motorcycle enthusiasts become confused about the size and power ratings of motorcycles. Keep reading to learn all about motorcycle ccs:

What does “cc” mean?
CC stands for cubic centimeters. This measures the volume of an engine’s cylinders. CC is not a measure of power, but a measure of size.

Are higher cc motorcycles more powerful?
Yes. The larger the engine, the more air and fuel it can take in at once. This means it can generate more power, at the expense of fuel efficiency.

What are the sizes of cc?
Small bikes like scooters and mopeds have engines between 50 and 125cc. Most motorcycles are somewhere between 125 and 1400cc, while large cruiser motorcycles can approach 2000cc.

How do I choose the right cc for my riding style?
Beginners should choose motorcycles with lower cc. They should also consider the number of cylinders and overall horsepower. Too much power can be dangerous for beginning riders.
